Why train with us?

Obviously you are free to chose the style of Aikido and the Club with which to train. Before you do, take time to ask some basic questions.......

Q What facilities do you have?

A We are one of the only Clubs in Southampton to have a permanent Dojo with clean, fitted mats. We have a large Clubroom, and excellent changing facilities.

Q Are these Clubs members of a larger and recognised Association?

A Yes, the Clubs are affiliated to the Ki No Kenkyukai Association Internationale and are members of the British Ki Society and the British Aikido Board.

Q Are the Instructors properly qualified?

A Yes, both Instructors have been passed a British Aikido Board Coaching Qualification. These are displayed in the Dojo.

Q Are the Instructors trained in First Aid?

A Yes, both Instructors hold current First Aid Certificates. These are displayed in the Dojo.

Q Am I insured to train with this Club?

A Yes, both Clubs hold full Public Liability Insurance. A copy is available on request.

Q Are the Instructors vetted in any other way?

A Yes, both Instructors hold CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) clearance certificates.

NEVER train with any Club that cannot fulfil these basic criteria. Ask the Instructors questions and be happy that they have answered them to your satisfaction. You should always enjoy your training, and it should be done with peace of mind.
